The job that the applicant has been offered must meet certain requirements and the applicant must also be below a certain age, be of good health, and be of good character.
Working Holiday Visa
This is a temporary work visa that lasts around 1-2 years.
Essential Skills Work Visa
This visa allows the holder to stay and work in New Zealand for a period of 1-5 years. The duration is dependent on the holder’s skill level and the employment contract’s duration. In order to get this visa, the applicant must prove that they are able to fill up a job position that could not be filled up by any other worker in New Zealand.

Getting a job offer
The applicant for the visa must get a job offer from a New Zealand employer and also get a copy of their job offer since they need to present it later.
No one else can do it
The applicant’s employer will have to prove that no one else in New Zealand could be hired for the applicant’s job.
Employer Supplementary Form
The employer of the applicant must fill up a form detailing their job offer.
Getting the required documents
The applicant must get all of the documents that they need for the visa application process.
Occupational Registration
The applicant must register to work in a particular occupation if it is requested of them by New Zealand.
