Getting a minimum eligibility score
At least 67 points have to be scored by the applicant on the PR test. The score is determined by criteria such as age, education, work experience, and language skills. A proper score on an English language test(IELTS) should be obtained to show that the candidate has the required language skills. The applicant should have at least a single year of work experience if they wish to apply for the visa. If they have a higher number of years of experience, it would greatly help their eligibility score, increasing their chances of getting their visa.
Getting the needed Comprehensive Ranking System(CRS) score
The applicant must make a profile in the Express Entry System so that they can apply to get their CRS score, which is for a maximum of 1200. The score will be determined by the applicant’s educational background, language skills, work experience, and other related factors. In the draw that takes place fortnightly, candidates will receive an invitation to apply for the PR visa if their score has been found to be acceptable.
Submitting application
An Invitation to Apply(ITA) will be sent to the applicant if they have completed the previous steps successfully. They will have to apply for the visa under the specific class they belong to as mentioned in the invitation. The applicant has to respond to the invite within 60 days and also submit all the documents that they have been asked to

The previously received ITA will expire if the documents that have been sent by the applicant are not approved. They will also be removed from the Express Entry Pool in this case.
Waiting for the results
If everything that has been sent so far has been verified and seen as valid, the applicant will receive the PR visa.
